The Killorglin U13s travelled to Abbeyfeale, hoping to get back to winning ways after last week's setback to Casteisland. 

Killorglin found themselves under pressure in the opening half with Abbeyfeale taking advantage of the slope.

However two great breaks from Darragh O'Connor, including one from inside his own half, meant that Killorlgin reached half-time two tries to the good. 

The second-half was again keenly contested but after making a few rampaging runs throughout the game, Darragh Poff managed to dot down between the posts. Oisin Daly converted to round off a perfect kicking performance, including one Ollie Campbell-esque conversion without a tee.

Abbeyfeale managed to get a late consolation try, which was just rewards for their efforts.

A great effort by Killorglin and it was encouraging to see the whole squad contributing to the victory.
